Hector Tajonar

Hector has a vast experience in the Mexican media and he studied Politics at the University of Oxford. He has written, directed and produced dozens of documentaries focused on art and culture, some of which have been awarded in Mexico and Europe. He has been Director of Cultural Proyects in Televisa, consultant in The Getty Conservation Institute, National Coordinator of Audiovisual Media in Conaculta (the Mexican Ministry of Culture), professor at the Nacional University of Mexico (UNAM), editor and co-author of art publications. He also curated an art exhibition at the Nartional Museum of Art, in Mexico (MUNAL). He is a political analyst and writes a weekly column in the Mexican newspaper Milenio.
